There are several ways you can become a data analyst today. Here’s a few:

University - You can go back to school and get a college degree in a technical or math field. You’ll hear many data analyst coming out of college either have a finance, MIS, or computer science degree, just to name a few. This process will take you anywhere from 2 - 4 years and cost $40,000+.

Self-taught - There’s no shortage of courses today, and I believe you can become self-taught in almost anything nowadays. Especially in more technical fields like programming or data science.

Bootcamp - If you’re looking to learn practical, real-world skills you might want to look into this option. Bootcamps are becoming more and more accepted these days.
